Reversible Single Shaft Hammer Crusher

Feed is dropped into the central feed chute and cast by the hammers against breaker plates or blocks and shatters under the repeated impact. The symmetrical construction of the crusher permits the unit to work equally well with the rotor revolving in either direction. The advantages of this option are that wear can be evenly distributed over both sets of breaker plates and that hammers do not have to be turned during their working life.
